Crampton's Gap work day 1 Year, 8 Months ago

Hello All, on Saturday June 5th we are planning on having a work day at the site of "The Fight For Crampton's Gap". We are planning on constructing the structure that will be Beth Crabbs general store, clearing some brush, etc. The main emphasis will be the general store. If anyone is free and interested in helping out, we will plan on meeting at the site at 9 A.M. to start work. One thing that would be especially helpful that we don't have lined up yet is a generator. Does anyone have, or have access to, a generator??
Other things to that would be helpful to bring with you if you have them is: Hammers, tape measures, cordless drills/skill saws, shovels, post hole diggers, etc.
Thanks
Dan

Thanks Rob, Looks like I picked a bad weekend as there are several mainstream events this weekend that I didn't know about. I think we will still go ahead and plan on working on Saturday. If people can get there but not by nine oclock, we will be working at a spot that is easy to get to. We will be working on top of the hill where the Federals camped at last years event. Just cross the wooden plank across the creek and head up the trail on the left going up the hill. I am sure you will hear us working.
On a related note. Registration for Crampton's Gap closes in one month!! Lets keep getting those in! We can still use a few more Johnny's for Brad's company.

Because of the forcast of rain for most of Saturday, our work day has been pushed back a day to Sunday. We will be meeting at 9 oclock at the parking lot of the event site. If anyone is able to come your help would surely be appriciated.

We are planning a final work day for the site of Crampton's Gap for Sunday July 11th. We could use maybe 2-3 people if possible. We will be finishing up Beth's store and doing other small things. Meet at the site at 10:00 am on Sunday with cordless drills, shovels, hammers, etc if you can make it.
Thanks
Dan

I will be there on Sunday. Come on boys, nothing like building a cabin to get you in the going to an event mood.
