Very Sorry 1 Year, 10 Months ago

I am very sorry but for the 2nd year in a row I cannot attend the ONV Drill. On Sunday I was admitted into our local hospital to find out that I have double pneumonia. It is believed that I have had this for some time and Backwaters may have kicked it into gear. I just got released today and cannot return to my students until next week. Once again I am very sorry about canceling.

Hi Holler,
I hope things will get better for you soon comrade. The pneumonia is a nasty bacteria and my sons can attest too.
I know you do not need the drill Holler but always good to see you at our events. Hopefully we can catch up in Michigan!

I will be ready to go by Michigan. I am taking the next two months off from re-enacting. This is my punishment for not going blue with Jason. Never again will I go against my friends. Although I did have a good time talking to Tom Yearby and Fred Baker the whole weekend. Plus, it was neat to see how the rebels run a battalion.
I was really looking forward to the drill. I always look forward to learning from all of you.
I am feeling much better and hopefully will get back to work by Monday.

Commanders must be just, if they are not just, they will lack dignity. If they lack dignity, they will lack charisma; and if they lack charisma, their soldiers will not face death for them. Therefore justice is the head of warriorship.
