Since working on a couple of other more "news-oriented" websites, I've been inspired to make some similar alterations to the ONV's site. The news slide-show feature helps to draw quick attention to important and timely information. The new image gallery will make it far easier for the membership to upload their own images directly into the gallery without any special tutorials or assistance from me. Plus, I am going to try to rework the community feature to the site so that we can have much easier interaction with each other — in other words, to make it a little more "Facebook"-like. The intention is to draw more traffic and activity back to the site.
