After seeing the post about Retreat from Bentonville, and I mostly am mainstream and do local reenactments, wondering if this event geared toward A/C type activity? I have only been reenacting going into the 3rd season and I did not start reenacting until after 51. I got the bug after reading Confederates in the Attic and attending Appomattox reenactment in 2004. History being my passion. I was born and raised near Appomattox/Lynchburg Virginia. Bottom line is, will this be a campaign type of reenactment or more of what I am used to reenacting with the 1st Nebraska, being a geizer than a young pup.

This is not a dumb question. Are you are new to this forum? If so you will notice all of the events featured are of the highest authentic level that can be attained. The members of the ONV strive for not only the highest authenticity in their kit, but also the proper attitude that allows are members to go full immersion during the events we attend. That is the goal we have, and try to attain. Some members do attend mainstream events as well as the authentic; but mainstream events are not the goal of the ONV. I hope I answered your question.
