Black powder 4 Years, 2 Months ago  
My question is:
Anyone have a source of powder? I do not want to make 2000 rounds without powder. I do not want shipment, I'd rather drive for it. Any help is great!!!!!

A local sporting shop here in Bloomington, IL carries Goex powder at $19.95 per lb. Illinois law allows you to buy a maximum of 5 lbs at a time. If you are interested let me know... the only problem I could see would be getting it to you. I unfortunately will not be at the meeting this weekend.

Sam (a member of the Hairy Nation) dad sells powder and caps. I can get Sam's number and he can order you whatever you need and however much you need.
We can talk more Saturday.

I just talked to Poague last night. Unfortunately
neither of us can attend the meeting, but he told
me he was in need of powder.
Please put him down for some (3, 4, 5? whatever
you think.) I am sure he will be good for it.

Hi Gents

You can get Schuetzen black powder from a place in Nebraska for 8$ a pound. I ordered 25 pounds last year and with the shipping and hazmat fee it still was under 10$ a pound. They will deliver it right to your door and you do not have to be home to sign for it.
