Yeah, the easiest way to get a hold of me is by email.
truyle2305@hotmail is my home email address and
truyle@springfield.k12.il.us is my school district address. I check both regularly.
The CS tentage is actually a tent fly copied from a description of one issued to Granbury's Brigade during Fall of '63. I believe they were issued 6 to every 100 men. There are lots of period references to these flies both east and west, from the Fall of '62 through the end of the war. Chris White of the New Richmond Depot used to make them but went out of business. From what Terry has told me I'm the only one making them now. I have two left and they are $75 each plus shipping.
While I have the time (and now that my toes have thawed out) I wanted to thank everyone involved for the two really great ONV events I attended: Old World and Norskadalen. They were outstanding. What I found really impressive was the quality of period civilians at both events. To me anyway, the civilian interaction adds a whole different dimension to usual military event.
