Gents, I talked to Don Sith today and he said that if we could have a list of men, who and hoow many, for the frock coat order if we go with him he would appreciate it. As you know he has a heavy work load and these things are pretty time consuming and getting the fabric and lining and piping is not something you can just run out and obtain. If you want I can be the POC with him on this as I talk to him every other day. PLEASE let me know ASAP.

Am I correct in presuming that we will be wearing Hardee hat pinned, brassed, Corded and feathered ??????

I am going to purchase a new Hardee 1858 army hat and want to know if I need the bells and whistles.

Based on what Steve Acker posted of general information about Antietam schedule and guidelines in the 2008 events for consideration post. He stated: partially adorned Dress Hat (number 6 and at least one other item of participants preference).

Hi Rod,

Steve is correct that you will need at least the numeral 6 and one other piece of dress hat ornamentation of your choosing whether it be the infantry horn, eagle plate, or company letter (when we select the exact company will be portraying we will let everyone know).

We want a mix and a campaign look. Your dress hat should not be pristine either as these gents were on the move and engaged quite a bit.
